  • Ph.D., Mechanical Engineering, Ferdowsi University of Mashhad, 2014-Present.
  • M.Sc., Mechanical Engineering, Ferdowsi University of Mashhad, 2012-2014.
  • B.Sc., Mechanical Engineering, Semnan University, 2007-2011.

Research Areas of Expertise:

Fatigue and fracture

lap joint structures, adhesive joints, bolted joints, hybrid joints

Pressure vessels

Computational mechanics of materials

Finite element method

Modal analysis

Micro Plasticity

Thermo-Mechanical analysis

Statistical mechanics

Research Interests:

I have performed my M.Sc. thesis on fatigue life estimation of aircraft fuselage lap joint structures by considering different parameters that affect riveting process, their optimization and consequently fatigue crack life estimation. My ongoing research field is about fatigue and fracture and mechanical strength of adhesive and hybrid joints (metal-metal bolted/adhesive and metal-composite bolted joints) and considering different aspects in modeling and experimental testing, my other favorite research area in the field of fatigue and fracture are as follows:

fracture in metal-nano composite lap joints

fracture in metal-self healing composite lap joints

temperature and moisture effects on bolted/adhesive joints

Professional Experiences:

American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), 2009-2010.

Modal Analysis Laboratory, 2010-2011.

Teacher Assistant in “Advanced Engineering Mathematics”, Fall 2014.

Lecturer in “Advanced Engineering Mathematics”, a short course of study for the Office of International Students, Spring 2015.

Reviewer of International Journal of Ambient Energy, 2015.

Reviewer of World Scientific and Engineering Academy and Society (WSEAS), 2015
